Original purpose of art-D

Art and design interpret the accelerant of thought perception and the world, thinking about body and soul, reflecting on the significance of social development to life, reexamining the new harmonious relationship between the virtual and the real in the conflict and indicating that the real connotation of art and design lies in the invisible and visible parts of life. Each artistic workcomes from an artist’s summary of irregular thoughts describing the human nature to different extents under the superposition of events and time.The 3rd  Global Chinese Art Design Award 2024 ("art-D Award") is recognized and supported by IVCDA. As the promotion and stimulation of the contribution to the contemporary art creation, art-D Award is the recognition and encouragement for the artist’s summary of thoughts, but it is by no means the goal of art creation. The updating of ideas is the greater premise for artistic creation development. The more important significance lies in the issues and challenges of art research and social participation. In this way, we can share our visionary wisdom.This mission is as old as the social life, illuminating our journey in the past, present and future.

Competition category

The competition category will includepaintings, sculptures, arts and crafts, architectural space, visual planes, industrial products, costume design, movie and TV cartoons, intelligent interaction, etc. This is a different exhibition in the field of art and design of global Chinese. there will be no restriction. Any artistic creation works can be involved in the global collection of art-D Award.

Judging panel

The competitionappraisal teamwill be composed of outstanding Chinese artists and designers. Those from the fields of commerce, press and publication will be invited to appraise the works. With the appraisal standards of aesthetics, functions, experience, originality and multi-disciplinary thinking, the practice connecting artistic creation can be conducted.

Award setting

Gold award, silver award, bronze award, excellent award and finalist award will be set in the competition. There is no limit on winner quota, and it depends on the quality of the works. If the number of the works submitted by an individual or a companyexceeds 5 (inclusive), artistic contribution award will be presented. All the above finalists will be issued with e-certificates in PDF, It will be possible to recommend you to join the International Designer Club (IDC), and you will be awarded membership badges. Artists and designers may apply according to their wishes.

Submission instructions

All the worksshould be submitted through e-mail, and the official languages of the competition are English and Chinese. Application Form, works and competition fee vouchers should be compressed in a package. The email name should be in the format of contestant name +P(S), and they should be sent to the following e-mail: art-d@foxmail.com

Specific requirement

At least 1-10 electronic images, effect pictures and physical photos should be submitted for each workaccording to the display requirement. They can be in A4 size, 300dpi, RGB mode and JPE format. In case of a special size, please output the high-definition electronic images according to the original size. In case of movie and TV cartoons, intelligent interactive works, etc. their application links or dynamic videos can be submitted. The duration of dynamic demonstration videos is less than 10 minutes, and the size of video file is less than 100M.

Professionals：$25 / 160 RMB will be charged for each entry work
Students：$12 / 80 RMB will be charged for each entry work
Works series will be counted as one piece

Copyright

art-D will have the right to use and exhibit the works in the competition. The creators of the shortlisted works understand and agree that the works submitted will be used by art-D, including their use in other printed materials and media.
